What is TALENT HUB?
Here you have the opportunity to show off your creativity and skills. This is not just an ordinary contest. There is no social media voting, you don’t have to sell tickets – only your skills count!
Join in and take your chance to stand on the stage of the 808 FAMILY.
The rules
Fairness and transparency are important to us. Here are the rules you need to follow:
- You must be at least 18 years old and be at 15. & March 16, 2024 will be available in Cologne. You are responsible for any travel and accommodation costs.
- Your talent and creativity are the focus. The mix must be created by you.
- Your on-site DJ set-up consists of 4 Pioneer CDJ2000 NXS2 or CDJ3000 and a Pioneer DJM900 NXS2. Please note that consoles, laptops or other end devices cannot be provided or used.
- Your mix should represent an opening slot (warm-up).
- Send us your press kit & a short introduction (preferably in video form).
- Closing date for entries: 25.02.2024 (23:59 CET)
Procedure
Application
Upload your 15-minute warm-up mix to SoundCloud (private) and show us what makes you special as an act.
Evaluation
Our jury consists of the 808 FAMILY residents. Your mix will be listened to and rated anonymously.
Decision
The decision will be made on March 5, 2024. The winner will be notified immediately. All participants receive an e-mail with detailed and constructive feedback.

How will my mix be rated?
Your mix will be anonymized and judged by our jury on the basis of creativity, technical skill and originality.
Is there a participation fee?
No, participation in the TALNET HUB is free of charge.
